Ocean jasper cab ~
Here is cabochon of ususual ocean jasper, from Madagascar. This cab is an excellent example of the agate variety, showing a nice translucence, as illustrated by the backlit photo. Several of the bullseyes have lovely teal blue coloration, others are a pastel of peachy orange with teal centers, adrift in a background of cream with pastel lavender. The cab has a rounded dome of 6mm, a symmetrical designer 'shield' shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
