Description
~ Tigereye cab ~

Here is a cabochon of tigereye in jasper, hailing from the Mount Brockman area in western Australia. It features multiple bands of golden chatoyance that rolls and flashes beautifully lengthwise in the stone, some of the very brightest I've ever seen. At one side are threads of black and red jasper, flowing like a twisting river, accented by several streaks of dark silvery hematite. This amazing tigereye in jasper material is also sometimes called Marra Mamba here in America, though it's actually distinctly different from true Marra Mamba tigereye which typically contains more bluish and reddish hues, often including the blue crocidolite host rock in which it occurs. The cab has a well rounded dome of 5.5mm, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.

Size: 50x20mm
Weight: approximately 45 carats

Price: $69.00
