Red horn coral cab ~
Offered here is top notch cabochon of fossilized red horn coral, from Utah. Horn corals are actually ancient sea life, and you can clearly see the organic nature of this once-living coral in the highly translucent agate. It has strong reddish color that's most desireable/collectible, with the classic 'radiating spoke' pattern shown off by a fancy shape that's much more attractive than the boring rounds and ovals most often cut. It's a nice large size too, well above average. Front and center for this one! The stone has a very high rounded dome of over 6mm, and a brilliant glassy polish both front and back.
