Amethyst Sage Agate ~
Here is a cabochon of amethyst sage agate, from Nevada. It features a very impressive display of ornate black dendrites against a pastel lilac background. There's a gemmy patch of deep amethyst, and a subtle band of blue agate too. It has a very high rounded dome of close to 8mm, a crisply bold symmetrical shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
