Pietersite cab ~
Here is a fancy cabochon of premium pietersite, from Africa. This one is a colorful swirl of pearly chatoyance in bright gold, blue and rusty red, and also contains a few areas of greenish hues where the colors mix together. Small but mighty, please be sure to click the pics to enlarge them to full size so you get a good look. The stone has a well rounded dome of 5mm, and an excellent gleaming polish on both sides.
