Morrisonite jasper cab ~
Offered here is an unusual cabochon of rare Morrisonite jasper, from Oregon. This particular cab of porcelain jasper is a study in warm orange hues, running the gamut from light and creamy pastels to dark burnt oranges somewhat similar in color to Idaho's Bruneau jasper. The pattern is all classic Morrisonite though, with streaks and streamers going criss cross every which way, overlain one atop the other. The stone has a high rounded dome of 6mm, a gracefully sleek shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
