Regency rose plume agate cab ~
Here is a sweet designer cabochon of Regency Rose plume agate, from the famous digs in eastern Oregon. This one was cut from some old stock I put aside years ago, and it's a good thing I did. It's mighty tough to come by these days. This cab features a beautiful pattern of mossy plumes in a few shades of pink, along with orange, yellow and peach adrift in translucent agate. The plumes quite resemble an underwater scene with lush living corals wafting in the current. Despite a couple well-healed hairlines visible only from the side, it's a beauty. The cab has a very high rounded dome, a gracefully sleek shape, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
