Here we have a small but might little cab of Biggs jasper, from Oregon. A long time favorite in the celebrated family of porcelain jaspers, this famous material has become quite collectibly rare these days. This scenic example features rolling hills on a stormy day, in rich earthy tones of brown, with a grayish blue 'sky' above. It has a low but well rounded dome, a graceful shape that enhances the jasper's pattern nicely, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
