Priday moss agate cab ~
Here is an absolutely superb cabochon of Priday plume agate, from the famous Priday Ranch digs in Oregon. It was cut from some very old stock that had been tucked away for decades, at least, in the cherished collection of the gentleman who dug it. (His wife recalls the two of them digging there in the early sixties.) To do justice to this marvel, I took plenty of good photos, including a backlit and a close-up, so you can see its fine details and gorgeous translucent nature. It is truly a uniquely distinguished cab, not overly dark or busy, as some Priday mosses tend to be. Whether you're a collector of fine rare agates, or a jewelry crafter looking to create something totally unique, this cab's a sure winner! The cab has a very high rounded dome, a gracefully fluid designer shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
