Biggs Jasper cab ~
Here we have a cabochon of Biggs jasper, from Oregon. The stone has a good dollop of the most sought after lavender (called blue) overtones present. And how 'bout those pretty little black dendrites? The pattern is rather scenic, and I think you'll enjoy creating a setting to best show it off. It has a love but well-rounded dome of nearly 5mm, a gracefully curved designer 'paisley' shape that enhances the jasper's pattern nicely, and a slick glassy polish both front and back. I do need to note that there's a small natural void on the backside, which only just barely breaks the surface on the front; I doubt you'll find it atall distracting.
