Parrot wing jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of premium old stock parrot wing jasper, from Mexico. It features a varied pattern of vivid turquoise blues, greens and plenty in between, with dabs of rusty red cuprite. The coloration is wonderfully rich and electric, and the close up photos reveal a small pool of sky blue gem silica. I really enjoy cabbing this material for use in my own jewelry; it's striking, and unlike some other parrot wing jasper I've had, this took a brilliant polish very easily. The cab has a low but well rounded dome and a sleek designer shape, polished both front and back.
