Charoite cab ~
Here is a freeform cabochon of top quality charoite, from Russia. Charoite is found only along the Chara River Valley in Yakutsk (in the former U.S.S.R.), a very remote area of East Central Siberia. This cab features a lovely swirling pattern of remarkably pearly chatoyance, with an unusual splash of golden color at one side. The stone has a high rounded dome, and a super glossy polish both front and back.
