Madagascar brecciated~
Here we have a large designer cab of premium Madagascar jasper, also known as Royal Savannah jasper. This brecciated material is very similar to the grand old time butterfly wing jasper, but I like this stuff even more! Super colorful, in wild and unpredictable patterns, but totally solid and stable despite its jumbled appearance in these photos. The chunks of jasper are saturated and filled between with translucent agate, so it actually takes a mirror-like polish as slick and smooth as any porcelain jasper. This stone features a near rainbow of amazing hues, including green, mauve, slate blue, yellow, orange, rose and rust red. It has a very high rounded dome, a strong symmetrical shape, and a superbly glassy 'wet ice' polish both front and back.
