Rooster tail plume agate cab ~
Here is a cabochon of rooster tail plume agate, which hails from Durango, Mexico. This beautiful, seldom seen material is a great favorite around here, sadly getting hard to find anymore. It features wonderful burnt yellow-orange plumes adrift in a pastel purplish agate background. Some of the larger plumes also show cream, and even pink. It has a high rounded dome of 6mm, a graceful designer shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
