Laguna agate cab ~
Offered here is a collectible cabochon of Laguna agate, from Mexico. It was cut from the heart of a prized museum-calibre nodule, showing terrific bands in deliciously rich raspberry, orange, and pink coloration. One area in particular displays some decent parallax, which is the optical illusion of the bands shifting open and closed. The outrageous pattern is offset by clear quartz at one side that sparkles like crushed ice, and if you hunt for them, the quartz does have a couple typical small pits. No big deal though. It's a knockout cab you'll be proud of!! It has a low but well rounded dome of 5mm, a gracefully curvy shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
