Ocean jasper cab ~
Offered here is an interesting cabochon of ocean jasper, from Madagascar. Ocean jasper never fails to amaze me, with its endless variations! This unique cab is of the agate variety, which I tried to illustrate in the backlit photo. It has a gemmy translucent gel quality that adds an attractive dimension of depth, with several beautiful yellow-orange-centered bullseyes afloat amongst various shades of cool green. Decidedly different from most! The stone has a nicely rounded dome, a versatile designer drop shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
