Birdseye rhyolite cab ~
Offered here is an interesting cabochon of orbicular rhyolite, from Nevada. This extra colorful old stock material goes by several names, including birdseye rhyolite, but no matter what you call it, I really like the stuff! This example features oodles of neat orbs in a variety of sizes, and its unusual crackly raspberry red, blue, cream, and yellow coloration and attractive arrangement will make a most desireable item of jewelry. The stone has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a bold designer shape, brightly polished both front and back.
