Yellow feather jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of yellow feather jasper, from Utah. This example if just about bursting with dendrites in pink, rose and black, against a background of pastel yellow. Some of the black and brown lines within the stone are edged in a more brilliant shade of yellow, adding a certain visual interest. But what I like best are the reddish dendrites, which, along with the black dendrites, create an almost scenic arrangement. Hope you like it as much as I do. This stone has a nicely rounded dome of 6mm, and a plump teardrop shape that's polished both front and back.
