Priday plume agate ~
Offered here is a unique cabochon of collectibly rare Priday plume agate, from the Priday Ranch digs in Oregon. This amazing stone was cut from some grand old stock, stashed away for decades in the cherished collection of an old gentleman rockhound, and I was extremely fortunate to have been able to purchase a horde of slices from his living estate. Oh for joy!!! This example has an impressive display of ornate plumes and moss, packed chock full, suspended in a translucent purplish-blue agate background that shows them off beautifully. It's truly an awesome treasure that anyone would be proud to own. The stone cab has a low rounded dome of 4mm, and a sleek designer 'flame' shape, polished both front and back.
