Morenci turquoise cab ~
Offered here is a big, beautiful cabochon of turquoise, cut from old stock nugget that originated at Arizona's Morenci mine. It features gorgeous bright turquoise-blue coloration, along with some faint contrasting web patterns. There's a metallic fleck of shiny silver pyrite amid the field of blue. Yes, this is stabilized material, as is most turquoise, but it contains no artificial coloring of any kind. It cut beautifully, and will stand up to every day wear without turning green over the years. The cab has a nicely rounded dome of 6.5mm, and a versatile designer shape, finished with a slick, glossy polish both front and back.
