Ocean jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Madagascar's ocean jasper that's really all agate. My most favorite kind! This example features (mostly) white and palest pastel lime and lavender orbs, many of which show fortification rings. Each is surrounded by agate that's nearly water clear, so you can see full orbs floating within the depths of the stone. Just a hint of green at one side, with blushes of peach. The fascinating three dimensional quality is difficult to capture digitally, but please be sure to enlarge the backlit photo. The stone has a generously nicely rounded dome of 5mm, a bold designer 'spearhead' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
