Laguna lace agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Laguna lace agate, from Mexico. This richly colored example has some fancy fortifications, frilly lace, and several small orbs and bullseyes bubbling up from the large end of the stone. Some of the stone shows translucence, particularly the areas surrounding the candy apple red bands. It ought to look grand set in either silver or gold, no matter how simple the setting. It has a well rounded dome of nearly 6mm, and a designer 'flame' shape, brought to a slick glassy polish both front and back.
