Victoria stone cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of NEW victoria stone, cut by Christo. I say "new" because this is different from the old material created by Imori, which I have never cared much for. It's currently being produced by a Russian company, using a proprietary blend of natural minerals, in this one color only. It has pleasingly cool 'iced sky blue' shades, with lighter areas that are quite beautiful in their own quiet way. Just as the old material did, this new victoria stone has a shimmering play, much like chatoyance, which changes with the light and angle of viewing. The cab has a low rounded dome, a designer drop shape, and a fine polish both front and back.
