Morrisonite jasper cab ~
Offered here is an awesome cabochon of top shelf morrisonite jasper, from the old Morrison Ranch digs in Oregon. This RARE material is the most sought after member of the porcelain jasper family, often called the king of jaspers. This stone is an extra nice example, with pleasingly busy patterning that runs the gamut, including several shades of blue, pale olive green and golden yellow, along with rusty reddish-brown and a spot of pink. There's a little bolt of white lightning, too. It's a remarkable gem, one that anybody would be proud to own! The cab has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a gracefully curved designer shape, and a brilliantly glassy polish both front and back.
