Marra Mamba tigereye cab ~
Offered here is a unique cabochon of rare Marra Mamba tigereye, from Australia. This eye-catching material is, in my opinion, the most awesomely brilliant tigereye there is anywhere in the world, and this gem's a top notch example of the highest calibre ever found. Gorgeous chatoyant flash, in hues of blue and teal with threads of yellow that roll and shimmer beautifully over the stone. To one side are a pair of stripes of shiny metallic hematite, as well as thin streaks of reddish orange velvety chatoyance, and the balance of the stone is an attractive olive green to orangish jasper, with shiny metallic spots. Glorious coloration, and even the backside is beautiful! The cab has a generously high rounded dome a full 8mm thick, a bold designer shape, and a super slick glassy polish both front and back. My per carat price of less than $2 is a genuine bargain!
