Parrot wing jasper cab ~
Offered here is a large cabochon of premium old stock parrot wing jasper, from Mexico. This delightful jasperized chrysocolla features a mottled pattern of rich cerulean blue and spring green, with dots and splashes of blue-black. It's every bit as vivid as the photos depict, perhaps even moreso. I really enjoy cabbing this classic material for use in my own jewelry; it's strikingly colored, very solid, and there's seldom any difficulty achieving a smooth, glossy shine. The cab has a rounded dome of 6mm, and a versatile designer shape that is polished both front and back.
