Rhodochrosite cab ~
Offered here is an awesome cabochon of rhodochrosite, from Argentina. This example features wavy bands of glowing hot pink shades alternating with white. Classic in every way, except for one corner, which has a bit of honey-colored gel (calcite) and a few tiny orbs. The stone is very gemmy & translucent, truly top shelf quality, with plenty of character. Rhodochrosite like this looks great in silver, but is particularly stunning in a setting of gold. Of course, the choice is yours!! The cab has a versatile designer shape, with a well rounded dome of 6.5mm. Polished to a lustrous brilliance both front and back.
