Native silver in dolomite cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of native silver in dolomite, from the Cobalt, Ontario, Canada area. This is a very rare, collectible material, quite unusual and unique, displaying its silver content in well defined dendrites. The dendrites remind me of tiny frilly ferns or snowflakes, and they were mighty tough to photograph, especially in the face-on view. They gleam brightly, reflecting any and all light, much like chrome! The surface may appear rough in the pics, but rest assured, it is quite smooth, and much more beautiful and intriguing in hand. When what little I have left is gone, it will be next to impossible to replace, so if you've had your eye on one of these beauties, GRAB IT! This stone has a nicely rounded dome of 5mm, a bold designer shape, and a brilliant polish both front and back.
