Offered here is a cabochon of poppy jasper, from the famous Morgan Hill, CA. location, no longer open to collecting. This cab features a great pattern of contrasting orbs and bullseye figures in blood red, rusty yellow, ochre, and charcoal black. Translucent to milky white at the pointed end. It does have a few of the typical hairlines common to this collectible material, but each is well healed and fine, so the stone is ready for your creative talents. The cab has a versatile designer shape, a nicely rounded dome of 6mm, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
