Rainforest jasper cab ~
Offered here is a large cabochon of Australia's rainforest 'jasper'. It features an attractive pattern in light and dark forest green shades, with several embedded thundereggs with blue agate cores. One pool has a pair of neat ringed bullseyes. This beautiful material is actually highly silicated rhyolite, with a few flecks of (common) opal in pastel yellow and orange. The lighter avocado orbs stand out nicely against a background of forest green. This cab has a well rounded dome of 7mm, an elegant designer shape, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
