Royal imperial jasper cab ~
Offered here is an attractive cabochon of Imperial jasper, from Mexico. This old stock "ojitos" material is simply marvelous stuff, a favorite member of the fine grained porcelain jasper family I love so much. The pattern in this stone is soft & simple, with gorgeous coloration to boot. I particuarly like the sky blue and old ivory shades, with the darker edging and center detail. This one's a keeper! The stone has a well rounded dome of 5.5mm, a designer 'shield' shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
