Dryhead agate ~
Offered here is a fancy cabochon of collectible Dryhead agate, from Montana. This bright and well patterned beauty features fortification banding and a few orbs in shades of reddish-orange, pink and several peach chiffon pastels. There's a crystalline cap resembling crushed ice at one end, with terminations, and a small patch of brown matrix at the opposite end. In case it isn't apparent in the photos, the peachy bands near the crystal end have a great degree of translucence, as well as a row of tiny crystal pseudomorphs. Awesome!! It has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a designer 'bullet' shape, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
