Deschutes jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Deschutes jasper, from Oregon. This is the opalized variety, a classic favorite. This stone features a fabulous pattern of wavy tendrils in rich earthy tones of reddish browns, coffee and cream. There's a great showing of dendrites too, and happily, I can find no fractures, pits or other flaws anywhere. It's certainly chock full of character! It has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a versatile designer shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
