Outback jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of outback jasper from Western Australia. Seems to me it's more dolomitic than jasper, but it's fun stuff just the same. This stone features a bold X pattern in rich chocolatey browns against a background that's rosy pink and cream at one side, with a splash of gold and golden brown at the other. It's an interesting material that has great designer potential, I think, and hope you will too. The stone has a high rounded dome of 7mm, an elegant designer drop shape, and lustrous polish both front and back.
