Imperial jasper cab suite ~
Offered here is a trio of cabs of imperial jasper, from Mexico. This classic old material is a long time favorite in my studio, a member of the fine grained porcelain jasper family I love so much. This example has a broad strip of pastel avocado edged with darker minty green ribbons, surrounded with an even lighter pastel that's nearly white to ivory. Very appealing, to say the least. The largest of the three cabs has a well rounded dome of 5.5mm, while the smaller pair are 4mm thick. Each is polished both front and back.
