Tiger jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cab of tiger jasper from Mexico, an old time material that I've seen little of until fairly recently. This stonefeatures vivid orange and yellow coloration, with seemingly black splashes that are actually dark silvery hematite. The metallic spots really set it off, adding a striking contrast, but were difficult to capture in these photos. Tiger jasper (or tiger tail jasper) is certainly very aptly named, and it does make distinctive jewelry. The cab has a well rounded dome of 7mm, a bold designer shape, a great glassy polish both front and back.
