Royal imperial jasper cab ~
Offered here is a distinguished cabochon of royal imperial jasper, old stock that hails from Mexico. This striking example features a fascinating orbicular pattern in mauve, brick red, pink and cream that practically leaps out at you. In addition, I see a few hints of green, as well as a peppering of black dendrites. There's also some subtle secondary pattern of 'curtains'. The unique figures fit the shape of the stone quite well, and the backside is beautiful too. The stone has a high rounded dome of 6mm, a long, gracefully curved designer shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
