Royal imperial jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Royal imperial jasper, fantastic old stock Mexican material the like of which hasn't been found in many years. If any does turn up in the marketplace, it typically commands quite a steep price. This example features pastel shades of light and dark green bands framing orbs in peachy pinks and mauve. And over the orb figures is a strong pattern of 'curtains', which remind me of venetian blinds. No doubt you'll be delighted and inspired when this one arrives! It has a well rounded dome of 5mm, and a freeform shape that enhances the jasper nicely, brought to a brilliant polish both front and back.
