Ocean jasper cab ~
Offered here is a distinguished cabochon of Madagascar's ocean jasper that's really all agate. My most favorite kind! This magnificent example features white and palest pastel pink orbs, several of which show subtle rings. Each is surrounded by agate that's nearly water clear, so you can see full orbs floating within its depths. Just the merest hint of green at the large end. I particularly like the speckled white frosting, reminiscent of a snow storm, that adds to the stone's remarkable character. The fascinating three dimensional quality is difficult to capture digitally, but whoever snags this beautiful prize will be extremely pleased, I'm sure. The stone has a generously high rounded dome of 7mm, a gracefully curved designer 'flame' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
