Ocean jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cab of old stock ocean jasper, from Madagascar. This particular ocean jasper was some of the first I ever saw. I look back on that day and realize my amazement at the myriad varieties of o.j. was then just beginning! This example has pretty sea green and pink fortifiction bands framing a large central orb and one sparkly druzy pocket. The odd lines are not flaws, just color zoning, and the green areas are semi-translucent. The cab has a low rounded dome of 5mm, a designer 'keystone' shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
