Crown of Silver psilomelane tongue ~
Offered here is a unique tongue of Crown of Silver psilomelane, from Mexico. It has the classic sub-metallic black alternating with the shiny silver bands, a few neat billowing plume-like blooms surrounded by awesome fortification banding, accented with dark red jasp/agate at one side. A genuine rarity. Psilomelane is usually a nightmare to photograph, but this one wasn't, and the photos capture it quite well. It's a beauty anyone would be proud to own, so I do hope you'll dream up something spectacular to show it off! Mokume gane always compliments stones like this nicely. This tongue is oval in cross section, 7mm in thickness, with a bright gleaming polish both front and back.
