Turquoise ~
Offered here is a deluxe cabochon of top notch spiderweb turquoise, from China. This one has plenty of very special "ZAT", meaning it has unique character and is appealing to the eye. It features absolutely GORGEOUS spiderwebbing, some very intricate, and excellent contrast. The intense spring green coloration edged with sky blue is accentuated to the fullest by the jet black webs. No doubt this material has been stabilized by some hardening process, as is most modern turquoise, but I don't believe it has been subjected to artificial coloring of any kind. It polished like a dream, and will wear wonderfully, without changing over the years. The cab has a generously high rounded dome of 7mm, a plump designer 'crescent' shape, and a smooth glossy polish both front and back.
