Luna agate cab ~
Offered here is a large cabochon of collectibly rare luna agate, from Mexico. This old favorite material is no longer easy to find like it was years ago, though there seems to be plenty of mediocre stuff around. This cab is a worthy example with a great display of the classic luna agate orbs and bullseyes, edged with ghostly fortifications. Some of the orbs are floating in the translucent purple fluorite at the large end, and there are also two small vugs with sparkly quartz. Neat! The stone has a low rounded dome of 5mm, an elongated designer drop shape, polished to a glassy brillance both front and back.
