Offered here is a cabochon of Biggs jasper, from Oregon. A long time favorite in the celebrated family of porcelain jaspers, this classic material has become quite collectibly rare and spendy these days. This example features a classic hilly pattern in rich earthy tones of brown and tan, along with generous dollops of rare 'blue'. It has a low but well rounded dome of 4mm, a designer teardrop shape, and a smooth glassy polish both front and back.
