King cobra jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon cut from king cobra jasper, from India. Some select pieces of this material arrived a few years ago now with deliciously bright tropical hues, quite unlike the cobra jasper I'd seen before, which is drab by comparison. The newer stuff is light years more exciting. This example is mostly pink and rose, with bits of mango orange in pools of sparkly quartz. There are some neat little orbs and freckles too. Try a cab of this delightful jasper, I'm sure you'll be thrilled! The stone has a well rounded dome of 7mm, a rounded 'keystone' shape, and a fabulous polish both front and back.
