Amazonite cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of amazonite, from Russia. It features a pleasantly rich 'iced turquoise' shades. The stone has a nice semi-translucence too, with a dash of silvery schiller flash that shows up at certain angles. That interesting shimmery effect is something microcline feldspars have in common. The cab has a well rounded dome of 5mm, a long & graceful teardrop shape, and an excellent polish both front and back.
