Dryhead agate ~
Offered here is a dintinguished cabochon of collectible Dryhead agate, another one of my favorite agates from Montana. This example has excellent fortification bands framing twin cores in the classic shades of pink, gold, and bright orange. There are a few fancy orbs as well, and a thin white band where the agate joins the dark chocolaty matrix. The stone is quite striking, easily worthy of gold. The cab has a generously high rounded dome of 7mm, and a bold designer shape, beautifully polished both front and back.
