Rainforest jasper cab ~
Offered here is a large cabochon of Australia's rainforest 'jasper'. It features an attractive pattern in light and dark forest green shades, with several embedded thundereggs with blue agate cores. One pool has a neat ringed bullseye as well as some tiny dots. This beautiful material is actually highly silicated rhyolite, with an attractive scattering of opal-filled patches in pastel yellow and orange, and a few scattered orbs in shades of avocado. The cab has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a crisp designer 'spear' shape, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
