Priday moss agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of old stock Priday moss & tube agate, from the long-famous Priday Ranch digs in Oregon. As the photos illustrate, this example's just bursting with mossy tubes of light and dark green moss. Those at one side show unusual orange cores, and many of the tubes seem to have a velvety coating. They are suspended in a translucent bluish agate background that shows them off nicely, especially when viewed backlit. There are also several ghostly fortification in palest blue, one with tubes (rings) of its own. The cab has a rounded dome of 5mm, a plump designer 'leaf' shape, and a smooth glassy polish both front and back.
