Offered here is a striking cabochon of Owyhee jasper, from Oregon. This gorgeous member of the porcelain jasper family is a long time favorite of mine, one that I can never get enough of! This stone features an almost painted pattern in ochre, edged with the most prized reds, which stand out strongly against an ivory and pastel blue background. This classic treasure is sure to spark your imagination if anything will. The stone has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a crisp designer 'catseye' shape, with a slick glassy polish both front and back.
